The great redesign of the Steam de Valve library is finally available to everyone. After a beta version, the redesigned Steam library is available for download right now.
The first big change is the look. The Steam library now acts as a homepage that provides immediate updates on recently played games, friend activity and game updates.
When you click on a game in your library, your page will appear, which now presents more information than before. You can see the latest updates of a title, achievements, community posts and a list of friends who play that specific game.
There is also a great new approach in keeping players in tune with the latest updates and events within the game in a specific game. Given the explosion of live service games in recent years, many titles such as Destiny 2 feature limited time events that can come and go without players noticing. The Steam library will now alert players to whether a game in their library currently hosts a limited time event.
To celebrate the new Steam library, Valve is also expanding its beta version of Remote Play Together to all Steam users. This allows Steam users to play local remote multiplayer online games with friends.
